Four of the illustrations feature men; two, women; and three, men and women. Five leaves show traditional Scottish dress and accessories. [The Scottish illustrations are lightly pasted in.] Six of the illustrations include the illustrator's initials D. N. A. The covering on the outside spine is peeling off and the cover is a bit soiled. The leaves are lightly tanned at their margins but the illustrations themselves are unaffected.
