Description: 1940s USA M43 pile liner jacket ARMY military mountain troops Original WW2 era m43 liner for the pullover m43 smock. These are extremely rare and are getting very hard to find now Tag size is a medium and these fit very large hair as do the parkas they match with so would fit anyone really up to an XL, these also had a stitched turned up cuff which was made so you could un stitch it if you needed the cuffs longer by a few inches which can be done on this if you wanted to do it. Made from alpaca fur (inside and out) with coyote fur hood trim, placated neck with talon zipper The coat is made from heavy weight fabric and will keep you extremely warm if you plan on wearing this Looking at the hardware / zip pull this seems to be un issued and remarkably for an item that's 80 years old the parka is in very good overall condition with the only noticeable signs of wear is some loss of fabric to the back of the coyote hood trim (this trim is easily replaced, and a small bit of fabric loss under the hood (pictured). This is likely from storage over the years and have had this dry cleaned to make sure it’s clean. The alapca itself is generally in remarkable condition and is still soft, flat and without matting. Also has all original tags attached which is also a rarity on these. Just been dry cleaned and is fresh and ready to wear Don’t miss out on this great coat, you will not be disappointed!
