Description: 1940s Industrial MANLEY Best JUMBO POPCORN Tin, Circus Elephant Graphics, 10 LB. Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL SIZE POPCORN TIN Awesome large vintage 1940s empty advertising tin bearing colorful lithograph decoration of a circus elephant - measures 9-1/2" tall by 6-1/2" wide. Featuring BEST JUMBO POPCORN, it was produced by Manley, Inc. in Kansas City, MO (formerly Burch Mfg. Co.) - they were best known for making industrial size popcorn machines for movie theaters. Once holding 10 Pounds unpopped corn, graphics cover the can with POP CORN cooked kernals - colors are navy blue and orange. Condition is good with a missing lid and contents. Exterior has scratching, scuffs, scraping, rubbing, denting, and an irregular shape as shown on the top - there is a bit of surface patination in two spots on the base - none of this detracts - finish is still shiny and tin displays very nicely. Large and striking, it would be a wonderful addition to any home, kitchen or tin or even circus display. Please let me know if you have any questions! Thanks! Pictures sell!
