Sublime vintage new old stock mint watch from the 1940s, never used or worn, made for McDowells of Dublin and is ex shop stock with its original strap and rare Acier buckle (buckle on its own being sold by another ebay regularly for £50 each).Movement is not running, the balance is stiff and not rotating but has good pivots, probably gummed up with old oil. There are a few marks on this one from knocking into other pieces.Superb project for the hobbyist to get going again and a rare opportunity to get a nice watch with the strap in this condition.
