Description: This is a vintage original 1940 Children’s Menu issued by the Southern Pacific Railroad. This menu is a booklet format of eight pages measuring about 6.5” x 5”. The centerfold page is printed “7-40” in the lower margin which we take to indicate a 1940 publication date for this menu. Children’s menus for Breakfast, Dinner, Supper and A la Carte items are printed on the two centerfold pages with other pages featuring cartoonish illustrations and rhyming descriptions of railroad workers and others. This vintage original menu is fully complete and intact with light handling wear and some toning from age. The menu has some light soiling and light staining to the covers not affecting interior pages and otherwise in very good condition overall. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
