Description: 1938 SEABOARD AIR LINE EMC 834 FROM SAL E4A #3002 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE PLATE RARE Excellent and super rare, diesel locomotive builder plate from EMC, builder number 834 from November 11, 1938, off of Seaboard Air Line Railway E4A, engine #3002. The plate is in very good condition with one, little shaved portion on the upper left-hand corner of the top, which has been photographed. There are no cracks or repairs, and a very nice piece. This is an extremely rare plate, with only (13) E4 units ever built (plus one demo unit), and ALL for the Seaboard. Not many have survived.
