Description: 1937 2nd Style Matchless Star Christmas Light Patent Print - White Here we have a poster created from the patent drawings for a "Decorative Light Structure" as submitted to the U.S. Government Patent Office by Arthur Stechbart in 1936. Obviously one of the patents for the desirable "Wonder Star" Christmas Tree lights, this second patent was for the more frequently seen mounting base. The image size refers specifically to the artwork itself, not the size of the paper it is printed on. Therefore, the paper size is always larger than the image size. All posters 11" x 14" and larger have a minimum 1/4" white border. 8 x 10 and 8.5 x 11 inch posters are shipped flat in a cardboard photo mailer Larger posters are rolled and shipped in a sturdy shipping box.
