Description: Fill in your collection with this very nice Lincoln Wheat Cent from 1935 minted in Philadelphia. It has not been professionally graded, nor am I a coin grader, but it appears to be, in my opinion, in Extremely Fine condition. The item seen in the picture is the item for sale. Winning bidder will postage (plus $1 handling) and sales tax. No combined shipping on this item. Please e-mail questions - Good Luck. The Lincoln Wheat Cent (sometimes referred to as a Strawpenny, Wheat penny, Wheatback, Wheat Head, or Wheatie) was a United States one-cent coin produced from 1909 to 1958. Both the obverse and the reverse were designed by Victor David Brenner, a New York sculptor. Brenner's initials, V.D.B., were included on the reverse of the coin below the two stylized wheat stalks on a limited number of the coins until public controversy forced their removal. Brenner's initials were restored to the obverse, below Lincoln's shoulder, in 1918. From Wikipedia
