Description: F40 Motorsports is proud to offer this one of a kind 1934 FORD ROEDER “SPORTS CUSTOM” This unrestored Sports Custom was built between 1948-1953 by Robert Roeder of Emmous, PA. The car started life as a ’34 Ford Deluxe Cabriolet he had purchased in 1938. Early on, Robert’s brother repainted the cabriolet in a sporty maroon with grey fenders. After returning frim the Marine Corp. during WWll, he began his plans for a more radical custom. Roeder was by then a sheet metal finisher at the nearby Allentown Mack Truck factory along with his master welder father, Paul Sr. With the help of his brother and father, the final version of Robert’s custom was completed with all the body modifications welded & leaded in his garage. Robert Roeder passed away from cancer in 1971 at age 53, leaving the custom preserved and stored in it’s 1950’s form. Mrs. Roeder sold it in 1998 to conclude 60 years of family ownership.
