Description: GERMAN LANGUAGE- HUMAN ANATOMY 2ND EDITION OF THE SECOND VOLUME 1934 710 PAGES AUTHOR HERMANN BRAUS AND EDITOR CURT ELZE TRANSLATION OF THE TITLE VARIES FROM "GUTS" TO "VISCERA" HERMANN BRAUS: Hermann Braus was a German anatomist who worked as a professor of comparative zoology at the University of Heidelberg and of anatomy at the University of Würzburg. He was involved in studies on the evolution of the tetrapod limb and pioneered techniques for visualization in anatomical studies... (yes, humans are tetrapods) CONDITION: Overall condition is rated at GOOD MINUS. boards have soiling and edge wear. Corners show minor wear through but are intact (PHOTO 18 & 19). Exterior page edges have soiling. Front end paper has surface loss where I would guess a prior owner's name and information was strongly erased (PHOTO 16). Rear end paper once had a tear that was repaired with tape (PHOTO 17) THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CONDITION ISSUE IS PENCIL NOTATIONS AND UNDERLINING IN SEVERAL PARTS OF THE BOOK (PHOTO 10 & 11). THERE IS ALSO A FOUR PAGE SECTION WHERE THE UNDERLINING IS IN COLOR. (I believe it to be colored pencils but it could be ink and you won't be erasing it anyway.) (PHOTO 12 & 13) It would appear that this book has had multiple owners. There are tiny unintentional corner bends to maybe 10 leaves in the book (PHOTO 14) THE BINDING IS STRONG AND SQUARE. This remains a fully functional book despite the issues PLEASE NOTE AGAIN THAT THIS BOOK IS ENTIRELY IN THE GERMAN LANGUAGE. PLEASE USE ZOOM FUNCTION ON ALL PHOTOS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. germantubtub
