Description: Here is a quite scarce 1932 special printing Republican National Convention Delegate Platform in the Arena admission ticket Specimen. In that election Franklin D. Roosevelt won over Herbert Hoover. It was the first Presidential election held during the Great Depression. This specimen ticket was made by the famous American Bank Note Company, and is punch cancelled across the center "Specimen ABN Co". This printing did not have the end stubs such as the common regular issued and circulated tickets did- it is complete as-made with no right end perforations. It was made as an example for the Republican convention committee. The ticket features a beautiful engraving portrait of President George Washington, it's dated June 14th of 1932, the size is 2 3/4" by 4 3/4", and it is in excellent condition with a remnant strip of the original cardboard page on the rear side right edge where it was adhered in a unique ABNC booklet.
