San Francisco, California . . . Ellsworth Vines, nationally famous tennis star, and his bride were among those sailing on the Matson liner Maui when it sailed from San Francisco for Honolulu. While in Honolulu Vices will play a series of exhibition matches against island stars, after which he will sail to New Zealand, Australia and perhaps the Orient for exhibition matches. For Vines, the trip appeared more important as a honeymoon than a tennis tour. He and his pretty youthful bride were married only a week or two ago.
