Well wishers by the thousands streamed through the capitol at Madison yesterday to shake the hand of Gov Phillip LaFollette as he began his third term. They were greeted also by Mrs LaFollette at the governor's right and by Sen Robert M LaFollette, barely visible at the left of the picture, who escorted his brother to the inauguration. The governor conducted a joint reception with Lt Gov Henry A Gunderson in executive chambers of the capitol from 2:30 to 4:30pm.
