1930's Miniature Views, 18 of 20 Card Set, Washington DC National Zoo

Description: This is a rare and original 1930's non-sport trading card set featuring the Washington National Zoological Park's wild animals. The set contains 18 out of 20 linen stock cards, each measuring 2.5 in x 3.75 in, and numbered. Missing from the original 20-card set is the orignial evelope and two cards #3388 & #3394. The full set is numbered 3379-9998. These cards are in excellent condition and each card includes the name of the animal and zoo's name on the front, with it's serial number on the back. This set is a great addition to any collection and features beautiful photography of the animals in their environments at the National Zooligical Park in 1930's Washington D.C. . The cards are part of the one-time Miniature Views Card Sets franchise and are an original and licensed print. There is no mark manufacturers mark on the cards, but one can assume they were either sponsored by the DC Tourism board of the time or the National Zoo itself.
