This image looks like many of his other photos and some that were used for baseball cards. Foxx is truly an underrated player. When he retired he was 2nd behind Ruth in home runs and 5th in career rbi's. This honorable player was a 9x All-Star and was named number 15 out of the top 100 players from the Sporting News. This remarkable image was used for his 1937 O-Pee-Chee baseball card. This photo has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA as a TYPE 1 ORIGINAL PHOTO. This photo is not date stamped and is Credited to "Apex Photograph Company" that was produced by the "American League Bureau". These were mostly issued from the late 1920's to mid 1930's which was around the time this photo was created. The size is 5 x 7 inches and is in MINT Condition. Finding card photos especially from Hall of famers or Stars is very tough to do now. This would be a great addition into any collection.
