1930's Breitling navigation watch, rare, Luftwaffe fliegeruhr, aviator

Description: Early German Luftwaffe watch "Montbrillant" by Breitling from 1930's. Watch was made for German pilots during Versailles era after WWI when Germany was forbiden to own army, airforce included. These kind of watches were used during 1920's and 1930's by German pilots for navigation, though they are not marked in military maner as watches used by German army during late 1930's and 1940's. Watch is equped with A.Schild mechanical movement, caliber 984. in great condition and working order, though it sits in box for last 10 or so years. Dial is metal with luminous numbers and hands. Hour hand was damaged by me 15 years ago when changing the crystal and could be replaced. Small second on "6". Case is made of chromed nickel. It measures 40mm in diameter, which is a great size for that era watches. It has rotating bezel with pointer used for navigational purposes. Fixed lugs 24mm wide.
