Description: This is a Rare and hard to find 1930's Art Deco 9 piece Sunbeam Maxwelton Braes Model Coffeemaster Service Set. All the pieces are chrome with bakelite handles. All the pieces are clean on the inside. The piece included are: 1 -- 9" 7 cup coffee maker and server with carfe with free basket insert. Marked on the bottom "Sunbeam Flexible Shaft Company, Chicago USA", Design Pat NO. D 92668 No. 5." This is a hard piece to find. 1 -- 9" same as number 1 without basket insert whch makes capacity 8 cup coffee server. Same markings on bottom except this is No.5 1 -- 7" 4 cup server. This is used for serving. Same markings on bottom except this is #5 2 -- Creamers with lids. 1 is marked Sunbeam Chicago Flexible Shaft Company,Chicago USA, Design Pat No. D-92268. THe other is marked on the bottom the same but has the #7. 1 Sugar (missing top) This is marked on the bottom the same but has Design Pat. No. 1000263. This is missing some of the black stripping and shows some wear on the chrome. See Picture. 2 -- ElectricTable Stoves. Both marked "Sumbeam Chicago Flexible Shaft Co. Model 14, design Pat. 100270, 110-120 volts, Watts 750 , for A C Only. There is only 1 power cord. One stove is working. I plugged the same cord into the other stove it and it wasn't working. 1 -- 12" inch round tray. With bakelite handles measures 14" inches. All pieces have the same bakelite black handles with NO chips The pieces are in good condition. There is a little wear here and there on some of the black stripes on a couple of the pieces and some little light scratches. With a little minor restoration (if you wish) or display as it is. This set as you can see in the pictures is RARE and still diplays beautifully. Interesting note:The 2021 film "Nightmare Alley" starring Bradley Cooper has a breakfast scene with this set on the table in front of him.
