Description: A very rare Penny card featuring Disney's Dwarfs from Snow White from the late 1930's or early 1940's.It is 3 x 3 inch cardboard card with a comic strip image on one side and gas logo on the backside. The cards were sold at gas stations in the USA with the gas stations logo found on the back of the cards. The station logo on this card is ESSO gas. The images were taken from newspaper comic strips and adhered to 3 x 3 inch cards that were sold at gas stations in vending machines. They sold for one penny and were dispensed from Criss Cross Card machines manufactured by Calex Mfg. Inc. of New York. See photos for more details - note the paper has some discoloration from age.
