Description: 1929 Magnat Debon Motorcycle 350cc., BST1 cyl, Classic Vintage Original I just dropped the price $2000.00; the 2024 summer ridding season is over. A compete tear-down and rebuild of the following items: Carburetors – ultrasonic cleaning, new gaskets and any new items requiring replacement. Brakes - Front and Rear brake system (includes shoes), cleaned, springs replaced or reworked. Fuel - Inspection of the gas tank, there is not rust in the tank. Mostly due to the mixed gas used to fuel the bike. I have cleaned the gas-tank thoroughly and replacement of the all of the fuel lines. Spark – Cleaned up the original spark plug and plug wires, it’s still a hot, and firing. Battery – Requires a 6-volt battery for the bike (include with the bike) Wheels – The Wheels have been trued and balanced. The Tires have been replaced for safety. 3.50-19 4pr Engine - All fluid levels have been checked and topped off. 3 speed Right, Tank shift, Left Hand clutch. The bike moves smoothly through all of the gears. Seat – added a few photos of the original seat (the one that came with the bike) and the New LYCETT seat, and the rear Passenger seat. All items are included with the sale of the bike. Main seat – An Original Drivers seat made by LYCETT, I do not know how old it is. Came with the bike, please see photos. Passenger seat – I have an Original 1929 rear seat imported from France I have also purchased a Large Lycette saddle seat with chrome springs made for BSA, Triumph or a Norton Motorcycle. The upgraded seat that is include with the bike. I am currently working on building a seat attachment clamp. I have an original 1929 rear buddy seat (photos to follow) I needed to work on some stuck bolts. This is an unrestored seat that I am including with the bike. Luggage – I have replaced both Luggage boxes in the rear saddle area. Yes, they are new and no I do not have the bags. I have ordered two sets so far and both have come in the wrong size. Chains – the original chain (or at least when I got the bike) I have removed BOTH chains and soaked them in oil for over a month. As seen in the Video they are slapping the inner cover, some minor adjustment needed to fix this. Suspension – New Chrome springs, the entire triple tree dissembled and cleaned. All grease fittings replaced with new ones. All ball barrings are greased and the front end reassembled. Videos – I have added two Videos of a cold start of the bike running. The bike starts on the first Kick, How cool is that!!!!! The bike is running off of a bypass gas tank. The tank is empty for storage. The Carburetor has been drained of gas for storage. Items That have not been replaced - I wanted to get the bike running and make sure it was safe on the road, but trying to keep as much pentena as possible. I have the following items that are available to go with the bike. All items can be shipped at the next owner’s home of residence, at the next owner’s expense. Headlight – I have an original 6 Volt Headlight that goes with the bike, I do not have it attached at this time. The Headlight have been rewired and works. Horn – I have a (new unused) ALTETTE Horn with mounting bracket that attackes to the underside of the gas tank. Rubber – I have purchase for replacement Rubber grips, Grip for rear seat, knee pads, and foot pads. If you replace the front foot pads with the new ones, the old ones can be used on the rear foot pads. Spark plug wire – New spark plug wire and attachment bracket Rear stop light – New unused stop light Spring kick start – New Kick start Spring Oil Spare Container Holder – New Spare One Gallon Oil Container Holder 1929 Carburetor – Used 1929 Carburetor spare Cable Hand – New Cable with all required connectors two cables per container Oil Pump lid – New Oil Pump lid (TERROT) Cable ties – 5 ea. original Cable ties Headlight retainer holders original – 2 ea. original Headlight retainer Holders Pipe oil brass – extra brass oil pipe NOTE: I have also collected a ton of Electronic and paper historical, mechanical and technical information.
