Description: From my airship collection I offer this official medal for the 1929 world tour of the Graf Zeppelin. For an official medal it is quite scarce as there were so many other beautiful medals to choose from this one sold poorly. Silver and small at 20mm it is hard to find. The obverse has the heads of Zeppelin, Eckener and Durr with 2 in profile and one facing. Their names curved below each. The reverse has a zeppelin in the form of an eagle over a globe. Stars and legend around. Edge lettered B. Hauptmunzamt . Feinsilber. Listed by Kaiser as his #513.1 it is very hard to find bordering on scarce. See the scans. U.S. shipping is $4.
