Description: very old Serigraph or Screenprint of a work by Georges Braque, dated 1929 -- from one of his series of still life paintings centered on a table and a mandolin: I believe this was titled 'Still Life with Mandolin' -- the print measures 21 by 30 in. - wooden frame is about 23 by 33 in. -- -- paper is laid on masonite -- a few nicks and light scratches to the print surface -- overlaid with varnish that has overall craquelure [crazing] -- the varnish has yellowed with time but the color is still bright under the varnish: a few areas of the varnish have chipped off // a little rubbing and nicking to the frame -- - ***** - -- Free Local pick-up is an option -- Each week we post a number of interesting items that have been purchased from Oregon Estate Sales-shipping can be recalculated and combined with multiple purchases-please let me do the calculating for combined shipments before paying.
