Description: 1925 Zeenut (PCL) -DAVE KEEFE (Portland Beavers) A's, Indians "3 FINGERED KEEFE". Keefe is known in the baseball world as "Three Finger Keefe" as just like 3 Finger Brown from the Cubs Keefe only had 3 functional fingers on his throwing hand which provided a unique spin while pitching. He lost a finger in a corn cutting accident as a child and it mangled another. The Zeenut series was produced every year by the Collins Candy Co from 1911 to 1938, each set contained somewhere between 48 to nearly 200 cards and includes many players that were both future or former Major League players. Beginning in 1924 they left the background in place, this was the second set to display a full bleed image. Please see scans for condition.
