Description: The 1924 Peace VAM 5A has the longest die break in the Peace Dollar series! Extending on the reverse from the middle top of the Eagles feathers in a curved path down to the very top of Eagles leg feathers and then very faintly, changing to a die crack, not easily seen with the naked eye, across the field to the top of the word Dollars and ending at the 4th ray that extends between O & L! By enlarging picture #6 it clearly shows that die crack. On a scale of R1 to R7 this coin has a Rarity of R6. Although graded a high grade of PCGS AU 55 it looks MS and could grade higher!! Also, as noted on the PCGS label, this coin was previously part of the ‘CALIFORNIA’ collection!! *OFFERS* USPS Priority Small Flat Rate Box insured with signature confirmation NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING!!
