Description: 1922 W501-2 (Like E121 Series) -PAT SHEA (New York Giants) -Type 2. Somebody wrote the corresponding W501 number at top in pen. This is a very confusing set for most collectors as many call them by the name W575-1, which is incorrect as these cards are actually a second version (or second printing) of the W501 set minus the W-4-22 and card number at top. They are distinguished as such by the grainy photo quality and the thin card stock and the presence of factory cut borders on both sides and a hand cut top and bottom border (just like W501).
