Packing is designed to operate in all pH ranges (0-14 pH), up to pressures of 475 psi. and temperatures of 1150 degrees Fahrenheit. Made in the USA.Installation: Rings should be cut on a 45 degree angle. Install second ring splice 60 degrees from first ring cut. Install third ring splice 120 degrees from first ring cut. Install fourth ring splice in same relative position as first ring and then start the splice every 60 degree pattern again. After all the rings are installed, hand tighten the packing nut. Next, start the pump. Gradually tighten the packing nut until leakage is decreased to a tolerable level.
