The 2020s generated, for reasons unclear even to experts, so much interest in the 1921, special and first issue, high relief and deep featured, coin of the Peace dollar series, that it has become the year's HOTTEST coin, or at least one of the hottest coins. Is it because of its 100-year anniversary? Or that it is the only really affordable, one-year type coin in high relief? Perhaps. We have acquired, and are acquiring, a very limited number of these coins to meet customer demand. This specimen is distinguished from a cleaned coin, so common with certain key dates such as the 1921, one-year-type Peace dollar. It shows bag scuffs and spots, and even the ICG holder has scratches - but it is bona fide, not cleaned, and never circulated.
