A good reference is found on page 18 of The Book of Wagner & Griswold (red book). Outer top side of cover is highly embossed lettered:WAGNER DRIP DROP No. 8 SKILLET COVER. Its inside is impressed marked:A/1068/PATENTED DEC., 4-17. FEB., 10-20. MCH., 8-21. MCH., 14-20. The lid's outer rim measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter. It measures 11-1/8 inches from outer spout cover to outer spout cover. The outer diameter of its inner seal lip measures 9-15/16 inches. It's weight is 3 pounds 15 ounces. This lid is in very good condition considering the age. It is in original condition with no repairs. There is no noteable damage. It just needs to be clean/seasoned to your liking. This is a very hard to find piece, especially in this good of condition.
