Printed in the U.S.A. all books have 448 pages , All books have flat crisp pages, with very good corners. There is some yellowing throughout that is to be expected. There looks like there was a sticker tag on the inside cover of all of them at some point. Book 1- In the Nursery - Copyright 1920, 1925 this book shows the most wear, several small tears throughout, some with old tape from making repairs, the bottom corner area of page 249/250 is torn out and missing. binding is a little loose but still in tact. Book 2- Up one Pair of Stairs- Copyright 1920, 1925, 1928, in good condition for it's age, binding in tight, there is a small corner of page 47 that is missing, this does not effect any of the print, page 89 has a rip up the middle but none of page is missing.Book 3-Through Fairy Halls, Copyright 1920, 1928. There are a few pages that have small tears in them but most the pages are in very good condition.Book 4- The treasure Chest- Copyright 1920, 1928. this book is in great condition for it's age with the exception on one page being ripped all the out but is still in place with the book, there are a hand full of other small edge tears.Book 5- From the Tower Window- Copyright 1921. I don't know if this volume is considered a first edition but it's the only one with only one year printed for the copy right. it is also in excellent condition, with maybe only 1 or 2 very small edge tears.Book 6- The Latch Key- Copyright 1921, 1925, binding is a little loose but still together, this book includes a general index of authors, titles, and leading characters for all the books.
