Description: This vintage casting reel from the 1920s was made by James Heddon's Sons in Dowagiac, Michigan. The reel features a nickel silver finish and is suitable for freshwater fishing. The brand is well-known among fishing enthusiasts and collectors alike. It's a great addition to any vintage fishing gear collection. The reel is in working condition and is not modified in any way. Don't miss out on the chance to own a piece of fishing history! 1920s Antique James Heddon's Sons 3-15 fishing reel nickel silver casting reel. Measures 2 inches in diameter, and is 2-3/16 inches wide with a 2-1/2 inch long foot. The knobs appear to be celluloid?, and one of them has a slight bend to it (see photos). I have enclosed a video to show that it turns smoothly and for you to get a real time image of it, please ask questions if you have them. I am not a fisher or a reel collector, I recently acquired some vintage/antique fishing rods, reels and lures that I will be listing over the next few weeks. Antique/Vintage preowned condition, turns smoothly ( see attached video ), needs to be cleaned up, slight bend on one of the knobs ( see photo ) - otherwise all seems good - Please view all photos (and video)as part of the items condition description.
