Description: Rare Vintage 8 String Tenor Banjo No. 2 LYNBROOK NU-ART. This is not a Banjolin! It has 18 frets and is meant to be a double strung tenor. I have searched to find another, to no avail, Could have been a custom order or one off. Company that made it was Albert Houdlett & Sons and existed in New York in the 1920's and supposing made some good stuff. If anyone has more info to add to this banjo it would be appreciated. Got my info from banjo forums on internet. Old skin head was ripped and nut and bridge had to be recut. I have the old pieces I got with it. I think the hardware is gold washed brass. The finish is untouched, they way I received it. There are a couple neck binding repairs on the lower side of neck. Prefer it to be picked up but might entertain shipping.
