Shipped in a plastic collector's sleeve. 1920 C&O Chesapeake & Ohio Railway - employee pass Click images to enlarge Description The former Chesapeake & Ohio Railway (C&O) served the area from Newport News, VA and Washington, DC west to Chicago, IL and Louisville, KY and north into much of Michigan; it also served Ontario, Canada from Detroit, MI to Buffalo, NY. The C&O also operated a car ferry across Lake Michigan from Ludington, MI to points in Wisconsin. The C&O merged with the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad and the Western Maryland Railroad in the 1960s to form the Chessie System, which in turn merged with the Seaboard Coast Line in 1980 to create CSX Transportation.
