Description: Ohio WWI postcard 1918 "We're Coming Back to You" poem Chester C. Moreland UNP This card was in my late grandfther's postcard collection. It is just the most amazing card! It is printed in Alencon France, and looks like a blank postcard at first. However, it is folded in half and the interior has a long, touching pre-printed poem detailing the progress and battles of World War I and how the sender is returning to Ohio. I suppose it was meant to be mailed back in advance of the sender's return. I believe my late great-uncle likely brought this back with him from the War. Normal handling wear and light soiling. Yellowing to card. Card is unmarked and unposted. What an amzing addition to your collection! I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
