Description: Very smooth running and perfect stitching, antique 1915 Singer sewing machine, retrofitted to hand crank , model 127 vibrating shuttle decorated in the lovely Sphinx decorations and bearing serial number This machine is extremely smooth running with no friction at all. It has a brand new hand crank device that runs the machine perfectly and sits in a custom made base made from antique hardwood . This is a very strong all steel machine, heavy duty, can sew light fabrics but also heavy fabrics including multiple layers of denim and light leather. You can also remove the hand crank and use in a treadle cabinet as well! We threaded it up and it sewed perfect stitches top and bottom. As seen in my photos. You just cant beat the quality of the antique Singers! We tested the bobbin winder, tensioner, shuttle motion, stitch length adjustment , everything was tested and this machine in perfect operating condition. Cosmetically this machine has some very light wear to the decals but they are almost fully intact with nice bright color. The black lacquer paint is in excellent shiny condition with some light wear to the bed. Comes oiled, cleaned, everything checked with a brand new bobbin winder tire and in the base with an extra bobbin, the bullet shuttle is in the machine.
