Description: June 23, 1914 Real Photo Postcard showing Game Action on (Charles) Comiskey Day at Three Eye Ball Park in Dubuque Iowa. As many of you know Charles Comiskey started his career with the Dubuque Rabbits as a 19 year old 1st Baseman from Chicago. He literally became a legend in Dubuque as he went on to Star in the Big Leagues with St Louis, Chicago and Cincinnati. He became the Manager of Chicago White Sox and then first player to own a MLB Team when he later bought the White Sox. He started the American League and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. During all this time he remained friends with his pals in Dubuque. He was honored this day at Three Eye Park on 28th Street which was sold at the end of the year and no more baseball was ever played there.
