Description: For sale a beautiful brass variety, TOUGHER TO FIND MERCHANT...USED AT A 1914 BAR, BEYOND GHOST TOWN (SADLY THIS SITE GONE FOREVER UNDER OPEN PIT MINING OPERATION) "good for" trade token once used at "GOOD FOR 12 1/2C IN TRADE / THE DEL RAY (1914 BAR)" located in the mining ghost town of RAY, ARIZONA JUST LOVE THE LOOK OF THIS TOKEN, VERY ATTRACTIVE WITH SQUARE SHAPE AND DENOMINATION CUTOUT....CATALOG SHOWS A 1914 BAR SALOON USINESS IN THIS HISTORIC MINING CAMP. The site of RAY is considered a total ghost town today...actually it beyond Ghost Town....pretty much gone due to open pit mine in region, and nobody getting to site to find any of these old tokens anymore. The site of RAY ghost town is located not too far from the town of Kelvin and Superior, south of Miami Arizona. BEING LISTED ON EBAY "BUY IT NOW"...came out of lifetime collection of Ray tokens...ONLY ONE I HAVE TO OFFER Trade token is brass, square, about 23mm in diameter, and it displays nicely, (please see pictures in gallery) Token has nice desert patina. note has its maker marksWhile some old Southern Arizona tokens are found in "dug" condition, this is a beautiful "problem free" specimen.
