Description: This is one of many great vintage & antique items I'm currently listing from various estates. Please take a look at my other merchandise at your leisure. You are bidding on: Historic Film Negative "Lovely Vista, South on Monroe St. from St. Augustine St" Tallahassee, Florida ~ April 18, 1916 ~ Original medium format 3.25 x 4.25" film negative. Photographed at Tallahassee FL in 1916 by the documentary photographer Charles Medin. Title above is from Medin's notes. It might take some research to figure out this locale - as I'm not sure the "St. Augustine Street" he refers to hasn't changed names. There is an Old St. Augustine Road that seems to disappear into the Apalachee Parkway before it crosses Monroe Street. Charles Medin was artist/photographer and then assistant editor of the Illinois Central Magazine, circa 1900s to 1949. His images are well-known to railfans as he documented railroads and city street scenes across the Eastern & Southern states.**Multiple negatives purchased at same time ship for the price of one** Negative Measures 3.25 x 4.25 Inches. Image Measures Approx. 3 x 4 Inches. In Good to Very Good Condition: General Wear, Spots & Corrections as Seen. Please see photos for further details Thanks for Looking and Good Luck BiddingSW4JC
