Description: Newly Appraised 1910 American made in the Northeast (most likely PA) Queen Anne Dining set. Table dimensions with the two leaves inserted 92" length by 50" wide by 30" tall. Each leaf is 11". Also comes with 6 side chairs and two arm chairs covered in pink velvet. This Dining Set is of the late Queen Anne period. The legs are of the heavy cabriole type, beautifully enriched with shell and husk ornamentation, details of which were copied exactly from one of the most famous chairs in existence. It was from this late Queen Anne period, when elegance of line combined with the stability of construction and solidity existed, that the well known designer, Thomas Chippendale, formed the basis for the wonderful school by his name which followed fifty years later. Some small cosmetic imperfections on legs of chairs consistent with age. See my other listings for the other pieces of the set. Will work with USHIP if Buyer pays for shipping and handles all communication. Not responsible for the condition of the item after it leaves my house.
