Description: .....1909 Fulton County Georgia Quit Claim Property Deed..... VERY IMPORTANT ITEM INFORMATION, PLEASE READ! This auction is for a 1909 Fulton County Georgia Quit Claim Property Deed. Interesting Deed is from a large family of brothers and sisters all giving their claim on their Mother's property and house as a gift to their sister Emily E. Smith. It reads in part "We the parties of the first part make this deed of gift to the party of the second part to carry out the desire of our Mother, Irena B. Smith, now deceased, as it was her expressed intention to have given our sister Emily E. Smith all of the within described tracts of land, except 41 Doray Street and some of us think she would have given this also to our sister Emily. Besides an equal share in the residue of her estate had she lived to execute her will, hence, we make this deed accordingly and agree for our sister Emily to share equally with us in said residue. Our Mother desired to make these special bequests to our sister Emily to compensate her for many years service in the home, and for nursing and caring for our demented (demented has been scratched out) sister Mary J. Barber, as well as to provide something for our said sister Emily, with which, she might assist in taking care of said sister, Mary J. Barber, after the demise of our mother.". Deed is stamped and notarized. Folded it measures 3 1/2" by 8 1/2", opened it is 8 1/2" by 13 1/4". Some minor wear and discoloration but overall it is in excellent condition.
