A lifetime .311 hitter, Jennings holds both the single-season and career records for hit by pitches. Known for his antics from the third base coaching box as the Tigers skipper, including his famous shouts of “Ee-Yah,” Connie Mack referred to Jennings as one of the three greatest managers in history.
