Description: I have for sale an American Pomological Society souvenir ribbon from the1907 Jamestown Exposition that was held in Norfolk County, Virginia. The souvenir has two parts. The top celluloid button shows John Smith in the center and reads JAMESTOWN EXPOSITION - 1607-1907. The button is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and in a high grade circulated condition. In the reverse it has a paper label with the makers name, Whitehead & Hoag. The red, white and blue ribbon is approximately three inches long & its also in a high grade circulated condition. On the ribbon in gold letters, it reads 30TH - BIENNIAL MEETING - AMERICAN - POMOLOGICAL - SOCIETY - JAMESTOWN EXPOSIT'N - VIRGINIA - SEPT., 1907. The American Pomological Society is the oldest fruit organization in North American, founded by Marshal P.
