Description: I have for sale a Republican Party ribbon for the November 8, 1904 election. On that day incumbent president Theodore Rosevelt defeated democrat Alton B. Parker. The ribbon is made of oil cloth, it is 10 1/4 by 3 3/8 inches and its in a high grade circulated condition with vivid colors. At the top it shows a picture of Theodore Roosevelt inside a wreath and flags, with REPUBLICAN PARTY above. There is a man in the center pointing to Roosevelt, and next to him it reads HE'S GOOD - ENOUGH FOR ME- AND SO IS THE - WHOLE - REPUBLICAN - TICKET - WATCHER. Inside a keystone it reads ELECTION - TUESDAY - NOVEMBER - 8TH - 1904. The bottom of the ribbon reads WEAR THIS TO THE POLLS.
