Description: 1904 29th Triennial Conclave San Francisco Boston Commandery Knights Templar A rare original 1904 San Francisco 29th Triennial Conclave medal representing the Boston Commandery of the Knights Templar. Made by Boston silversmith George E Homer for this event. Wear to the gold gilding. The parade was held on September 6th 1904. It is said the Boston Commandery No 1, owing to the fact it was the oldest commandery in the U.S., protested their position in the parade and retired to their hotel rooms in a huff. This gilt brass medal is from that historic event. Made in two parts with an overall height of about 2". The widest point of the badge is about 1.75".
