Every summer a large family boarded at Bellevue Hotel near the Point-Aux-Barils Lighthouse. As prices rose, they decided to build their own Camp House. They built on a flat rock outcropping 1/4 mile below the hotel wharf and lighthouse, enlisting the help of local Indians, Shawanaga. The article details how they built their camp and their house with many photos. No one is identified in the photos.
