Description: 1903 C.G. CONN CONQUEROR 2S POCKET TRUMPET CORNET W/ CASE S/N 81220, VINTAGE. Here is an original 1903 C. G. Conn, Elkhart, Indiana, pocket trumpet cornet, a 2S model with the serial number 81220 engraved on the center cylinder. The keys work fine, the trumpet or pocket cornet has a Vincent bock mouthpiece, and an extra fitting, identical to the one currently on the front with the spit valve, and with its original case. Please review photos. The instrument is a survivor, it has not been worked on or gone through or polished. It is heavily tarnished, but it is a good quality and working instrument. The keys work fine, the instrument does reflect a dent as shown in the photo, on the curve right by the mouthpiece. Please review photos and feel free to ask questions. This instrument will definitely need a going through by a professional, I have played the trumpet, but I am not an expert. I always suggest instruments be gone through before use. Beautiful dated 1903 based on the serial number 81220, a model 2S C.G. Conn, Elkhart, Indiana, pocket trumpet cornet with the original beat up but still viable case, with tape wrapped around the handle, a great addition to your brass band, orchestra, or jazz trumpet or coronet or horn instrument collection, iconic C. G. Conn quality made turn of the 20th century, 1903 model 2S Cornet or trumpet inventory collection, classic vintage band instrument related brass instrument memorabilia collection.
