Present here are volumes II, III, IV, and V.Published in 1903, volume II is titled 'Pilgrimages to Old Homes Mostly on the Welsh Border'. Illustrated with two-hundred and forty-two vignette and full page photographic images. Homes discussed include Clifford Castle, Tintern Abbey, and Arley Hall.Volume III, published in 1906, describes Haddon Hall, Wardley Hall, Slade Hall, and others, with vignette and full page photographic images throughout.Volume IV, published in 1908, is titled 'The Fourth Book of Pilgrimages to Old Homes', and includes discussion of Arundel Castle, Stonyhurst, and Hardwick Hall. Illustrated with vignette and full page photographic images throughout, photographed by James Watts.Volume V, published in 1910, is titled 'The Fifth Book of Pilgrimages to Old Homes', and includes discussion of Winfield Manor, Turton Tower, and Worsley Old Hall. Light rubbing to back strips and boards. Rear hinge of volume II and front hinge volume III strained, but firmly held. Inscription to front free pastedown of volume IV, and front free endpaper of volume V. Illustrated bookplate to front pastedown of volume V. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
