Description: 1902- Coast Artillery Officers Field Service Saddle Cloth Insignia. This is the lower rear section of the saddle cloth that displayed the CAC company number. Russet leather numbers sewn onto heavy khaki canvas. Cant explain the reason for it being cut, just the way it came. 9 3/4 inches widest. Very good condition. Display from the Robert Borrell Artillery Collection.
