Description: For sale, A SCARCE TO FIND....TOUGHER TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION....USED DURING THE "A.T." ERA (ARIZONA TERRITORY) A SALOON THAT CATERED TO MINERS, AND STARTED IN 1902 "good for" style trade token once used as "(GOOD FOR 12 1/2C OVER THE BAR " in trade at a business called "MINERS SALOON (operated 1902-1912)", which was located in old downtown BISBEE, A.T. ARIZONA TERRITORYI have had a business in Bisbee for many years, and typically the tokens i get offered are either 5x book value, and or dug, and barely readable.......this is just beauty...a saloon token with strong details IT IS TOUGH TO FIND THESE BISBEE TOKENS THAT SAY "SALOON" ON THEM....AND THEN OFTEN THEY WERE FOUND MANY YEARS AGO IN THE OLD BISBEE DUMP...AND THEY ARE DUG AND UGLY...THIS IS A STELLAR EXAMPLEI love that this token is used in an iconic Southern Arizona Copper Mining Camp....at the "Miners Saloon"...obviously catering to the miners who worked the mines around Bisbee....just awesomeThe historic mining camp of Bisbee is located in beautiful Cochise County, next to Lowell....and not far from Tombstone, Tin-town, Warren and Douglas Az. Trade token is brass, round, about 21mm in diameter, never in the ground, and displays well...has not been cleaned (please see pictures in gallery) Gallery pictures should give you all the information you need.
