Description: Old circa 1900-1915 huge iron original toy figure wearing cap. This figure was made to be the driver for a very large iron toy truck made by the Jones & Bixler toy company. We estimate that the figure dates circa 1900-1915. The figure has a circular shaped straight shaft under the man's seat. The height is 3 3/4 inches. The weight is 6.2 ounces. The figure has a lovely dark rich patina. The original paint is heavily worn & only a very tiny amount remains. A former owner re-peened the correct end of the rivet to try to tighten the two halves of the figure. But, the halves are still a little loose. A rare figure!
