Description: 18th Century Chelsea Butterfly & Floral Embossed Plate Circa 1752-1756 Nice antique 18th century British porcelain plate with embossed floral pattern. Decorated with a hand painted butterfly in the center. With hand painted flowers in red, purple, blue, and yellow. Puce trim along the edge. Marked on the reverse with a small red anchor mark by Chelsea between 1752 and 1756. Has wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. EW
