Description: An antique 18th century English Derby porcelain figure of a man with a pug dog. This is a rare model, perhaps after a Meissen figure from around 1750. The figure is unmarked but has the signature 3 pads on the bottom that Derby used early on. The figure is approximately 5.5 inches tall. His right arm has been reattached between the elbow and shoulder, there is a flea bite to the hat, some small loses to the applied leaves and his hair bow (the tip of the pen is pointing to these), some general age wear, and an underglaze kiln firing crack to his left ankle (it was made like this). Please see the photos for details. Thank you for looking! b3 Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
